Fabia Ogunmekan

FabFabia is a Corporate Attorney and Corporate Services Executive. A qualified lawyer with over 14years experience. She is a Director at Asher Consulting, a Corporate and Legal advisory Service Consultancy, with a focus on Small to Medium businesses and nonprofits. She commenced her career at The Law Union, a firm of Barristers and Solicitors in 2001 working in the areas of Commercial Law and Litigation.

She was educated at the University College London where she obtained her LLB (Laws) 1998 as well as the Nigerian Law School (BL) 2001. She is a Chartered Mediator with the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators and has taken part in various Corporate Social Responsibility courses at the Lagos Business School, Pan African University. In 2008 she completed the Senior Management Programme at the Lagos Business School.
She is currently undertaking a Post-Graduate Diploma at the Cass Business School, City University, London in Nonprofit Management.

From May 2004 to April 2006, she worked as Corporate Secretary to Pro-Natura International, an international nonprofit organisation active in the field of sustainable development. At PNI she was responsible for setting up administrative and governance systems and worked closely with the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees.

In 2007, she joined Hygeia Nigeria Limited where she worked in various capacities, including coordinating the day to day activities of the Community Health Insurance programme where she oversaw the growth of the insured enrollee base from scratch to over 70,000 enrollees, as well as coordinated the reporting and quality improvement activities. She also had oversight of the Group Legal and regulatory function. Her interest in development and working towards the achievement of economic and social progress for women is lifelong. She holds Trusteeships in other non profits organizations.
She is well travelled and has participated in numerous conferences on Corporate Sustainability, healthcare partnerships and Financing as well as Women empowerment and entrepreneurship.

Folake Ayoola

Fola 2Folake is a senior counsel in the Office of Structured Finance (“OSF”) at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington DC, United States. Prior to joining the OSF, Folake was an associate in the securities and capital markets group of Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett LLP’s New York office. Folake started her legal career at the Houston office of Baker Botts LLP, where she worked on cutting edge corporate transactions.

While in private practice, she represented corporations in a variety of complex corporate finance transactions and promoted good governance practice. She has worked on numerous pro bono matters and has at various times represented and provided legal services to survivors of domestic violence, child custody cases and probating of wills matters.

Folake attended the Columbia University School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctorate and Masters of Laws degrees in 2004 and 2002, respectively. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University College London, University of London (UCL), graduating with upper class honors in 2000. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Texas State Bar and holds memberships in each of those bar associations

Folake founded and holds directorships in several nonprofits including AfriMETRO, Inc. New York and AfriPRO Houston. She is an associate of the Nigerian Leadership Initiative (NLI), an international nonprofit organization and is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network She is a former Director of The Endeavor for Hope Foundation, a U.S. based charitable organization, a former mentor for the Dress for Success Woman to Woman Mentoring Program and immediate-past President of the Nigerian Lawyers Association (USA), an association which provides leadership and advocacy for the legal needs and interests of the Nigerian community in the United States.

Ms Ayoola works tirelessly to make a positive impact in her community and has received numerous awards and recognitions to this end.

Nnenna Oduwusi

NnennaNnenna is a public health specialist with over a decade of experience in public health in Nigeria and the Africa region, covering programme management, evaluation, organizational development, capacity building, health systems strengthening and community-based health insurance.

In the course of her career, she has managed national level, donor-funded programmes and covered 30 states of Nigeria and several countries in the Africa region. Her work experience includes lecturing in Health Management, Planning and Development with the College of Medicine, University of Lagos Nigeria. In addition, she worked as a Senior Reproductive Health Advisor with Family Health International, leading the reproductive health – HIV integration efforts and other initiatives. She has also functioned as the Insurance Operations Manager for PharmAccess Foundation, overseeing community schemes with over 100,000 enrollees.

Nnenna has provided technical assistance as a consultant to different national and international organizations, as well as government structures/institutions including: the National Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (NACA), several State Agencies for the Control of HIV/AIDS (SACAs), United Nations Development Programme(UNDP), Ford Foundation, Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Organization (ALCO), Partnership for Transforming Health Systems 2(PATHS2), American Jewish World Service, Family Health International, AED SMARTWork, Management Strategies for Africa (MSA), among others.

In addition, she has contributed to the development of various national and state strategic documents and service guidelines. She serves on the board of directors of InSiGHt and functions as the Principal Consultant for IHC.

Kemi Dallass

kdKemi is the Director and CEO of UrSPACE Facilities Managers Limited. A recognized professional in the facilities management industry working with commercial and private owners for over 13years.

She started her career with one of the biggest real estate and development companies in Virginia, USA as a Building Director, managing three of their commercial buildings under lease to the Department of Defence. Her experience includes a stint at Caverton Marine Limited (subsidiary of the Caverton Group) where she developed and managed the company’s Human Resource and Administrative Department. She also worked as the Project Manager in charge of the company’s multi-million naira headquarters located in Victoria Island and handled the acquisition and management of other company properties and assets.

Kemi is also a Director of EDuworks Limited. A real estate development company focused on developing optimal real estate solutions in Nigeria. She holds a BSc. in Economics from Howard University, Washington, DC and an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Manchester, England. With her passion for continued self improvement, she has completed courses in Facilities Management and other Management and Leadership courses from George Mason University in Virginia, USA. Her passion for the development of both human capital and infrastructure is unwavering as is her commitment to contributing towards social projects

Ibiso Graham-Douglas

kdIbiso is an entrepreneur and Publisher has been in the book business for over 12 years. She holds a BA Honours degree in Financial Services and International Relations from the London Guildhall University (now London Metropolitan University), and an MA in Publishing from the London College of Communication, University of the Arts. She also has a New Creative Ventures Certificate from the Centre of Creative Business Grow, London Business School.She is currently pursuing an MSC in International Business at the Griffith College, Dublin.

A focus driven creative thinker, her commitment to efficiency and effectiveness has facilitated her work in the book industry and the gender development sectors. In 2002 she set up Paperworth Books Ltd, a book selling and publishing business based in Nigeria, with the objective of providing access to relevant books and literature to a wide audience through the functions of book-selling, publishing, and events coordination.As an advocate and enthusiast of the creative arts, she is also board member of Beeta Universal Arts Foundation, a theatre production company that has produced over 15 stage plays in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja.

To this end she has attended several national and international books fairs and seminars and is a member of the UK’s Women in Publishing and Society of Young Publishers organizations.

Ibiso has served on the founding Board of a number of nonprofit organizations including the Africa Women Network for Peace and Development (AWPD), an NGO set up to equip African Women leaders to effectively and judiciously execute their duties and responsibilities with particular emphasis on training and networking. Ibiso is also an experienced organizer of international summits on women empowerment in West Africa.

She more recently served on the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s Presidential Task Force on Power and is currently an Executive Assistant to the Nigerian Ambassador to Ireland. Ibiso is an avid reader and lover of all things art and culture.

Nkiuruka Oguadinma


Nkiruka Oguadinma has over 13years experience in Marketing and Communications, Brand Building, Strategic Management, and Customer Experience and Relationship Management. She is currently an Associate Director for Verdant Zeal, a Marketing Communications and Advertising Agency; she also doubles as the MD of NeoMantra Limited an intellectual property development, branded entertainment and sponsorship facilitation Company.

She has worked for various leading Organizations at senior management positions, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Hygeia Nigeria Limited and prior to that as Group Head Corporate Communications for AIICO Insurance Plc.

Nkiru is also the principal partner and founder of Avenu Consulting Ltd. She is a Personal and Executive coach, speaker and business strategist dedicated to helping people and organizations re-sharpen their focus and move from their current state to their desired new reality. She uses her skills as a Certified Coach to bring clarity to what people want to accomplish in life, career, finances or business.

Nkiru holds an MBA from the Metropolitan University UK and a BSC. in Marketing from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. She has various certifications including being a certified Coach of the Jack Canfield Coaching Institute USA, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK
